The Operation Was Handled 

 

With Precision And A Planned Approach Three 

 

Levels Of Action To Sink A Ship.

 

Key Is Air Cover, Fighters Would Strafed Ship 

 

To Draw Anti Aircraft Fire. 

 

Dive Bomber Would Drop Loads 

 

The Surface Deck, Causing Havoc. 

 

Then The Torpedo Aircraft Would Emerge.

 

Releasing  24 Pound Or More 

Torpedoes At The Right Angle

That Build Up To The Speed 

55MPH Gauged For The Impact. 

With The Hopes Of Piercing Side Walls. 

This Was A Dangerous Mission. 

Many Pilots Lost Their Lives 

Before The Launch.
