Which Needed To Be Rationed 

To Avoid Hoarding And Waste

The Black Market Of The Ukraine 

Ran A Popular Business 

Importing Of Needed Supplies

Filling The Gaps 

The Value Of The Money Dropped 

Russian Was Starting To Lose 

Control Of The Republics 

Lawless Occurred In The Satellite Countries 

The Army Was Placed On High Alert 

Not From The Threat Of The West

But The Treat Within The Block 

Everything Flipped Upside Down 

And Became Calm With

The 50th Year Anniversary Celebrations 

And Were The Only Thing That Kept

This Large Land Masse From Breaking A Part Politically. 

Most Of The Country Was Struggling To Survive...

I Was In West Germany At This Period 1974-1976

Training With The U.S. Army And Bundeswehr 

For The Mount Everest Climbs 

Using The Alps As Practice 

And Staging Location... 

I Watched The Shake Occur...

The NATO Group Went On High Alert 

Just In Case Of A Collapse... 

This Was Never Reported By Western Papers Or Radio.
